Bakery Pup

This picture according to me is by far.. one of the most compelling pictures that I have ever photographed.

This little guy was patiently sitting in front of the Bakery, looking at all the goodies inside the glass box, waiting for some one to buy him something.

I just couldn’t help buy buy him some biscuits which he refused to eat. 😀 So I got him an Egg puff and he polished off the Boiled egg nicely..

This picture was clicked before I bought him the Egg puff.

Shot in very low light @70mm, ISO 800, f/2.8. Hand held at 1/8th of a second. The IS on the 70-200 f/2.8 IS II USM is to Die for.

Haven’t processed this image much. Wanted to retain the light and the essence of the street scene as it is.

ನಮ್ಮ ಮೆಟ್ರೋ: Namma Metro turns 1

Began operations in October 2011. Public memory is short lived indeed. Celebrating its One Year Of Safe Service.
This was shot with my Samsung Galaxy S II (I9100 ) from inside my car on MG Road – Brigade Road Signal.
The eagle was more of a guest appearance. 😀
Cleaned up the image to get rid of water stains from the wind shield of my car..

Shining Star

This was at one of the Flea Markets. I always have an eye open for Tattoos.

Symmetry – Majestic – Bangalore Bus Station – Subway

This was shot early in the morning. This is the only time you can find this Majestic subway this empty.
The place was pretty dark except for the light pouring in from the entrance.
Used a Super Wide Angle Canon 10-22 to get the entire scene.
Shot at 16mm | f/8  | 1/15th of a sec | ISO 800

Double Meter Madam :D

Found this intersting graffiti on the walls of a shop on Krishna Temple Road. The Road opposite to Toit – 100ft Road.
This was the time when the Auto fares were hiked up like crazy.
The artist hit the nail on the head dipicting the attitude of Namma Bangalore’s Auto Drivers. ’10Rs’ extra and ‘Double Meter’
Samsung Galaxy S II
*update – 27-FEb-2013: The graffiti aint there anymore 🙁

St. Philomena’s Church, Mysore – HDR

This is one of my favourite images.  These were some of the images i made just after I got my Dslr. I was super intrigued by HDR s and gave it a shot..
This was shot using a 18-55 Kit lens @ 21mm | f/18 | ISO 100. It’s a composite of 3 images with different exposures merged together to achieve the High Dynamic Range.
Lotta photographers take a Dig at HDR and about how its over saturated and unreal and stuff.
I personally like HDR and seeing this picture makes me want to do more HDR images.
